Cloistered Imperial Prince Shoe (聖恵法親王)

Cloistered Imperial Prince Shoe (1094 - March 4, 1137) was a Shingon sect priest in the late Heian period. He was the fifth prince of Emperor Shirakawa.

He became a priest at Ninna-ji Temple and learned esoteric Buddhism under Joju-in Kanjo. He lived in Kezo-in Temple. In 1127 Sanbon was bestowed on him and in 1132 he prayed for the cure of Emperor Toba's disease. His disciples included Kangyo.
